Allan Kaye
Born in Chicago----Attended Chicago Musical College (Roosevelt University) on Michigan Ave. where he studied piano performance with the great Rudolf Ganz.
Also attended Chicago Conservatory of Music and has a degree in performance.
He performed the Grieg,Piano Concerto in A Minor with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at the age of 16. He again performed with the Chicago Symphony at the age of 22 , playing the Chopin Piano Concerto in F Minor. He was a bandleader in High School, leading bands at several Michigan resorts and Midwest hotels.

He has conducted Large Orchestras in Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, California, and in New York at the Waldorf-Astoria, Plaza Hotel, and the Tavern on the Green. He has conducted for Della Reese, Victor Borge, Vic Damone, Elaine Stritch, Regis Philbin, Lesley Gore, and many others... He has conducted the St. Lukes Fashion Show for the last 2 years hosted by MaryAnn Childers and Jay Levine. He has conducted many fashion shows including dozens for Marshall Field's. He has recently conducted Major Banquets for Bill Clinton,George Bush Sr.,and many local Chicago politicians.

Ron has played trumpet and flugelhorn on more than 8000 professional recording sessions. He has been one of the most sought after players in the United Sates. He toured and played solo trumpet with Frank Sinatra for five years. He has recorded, toured, and performed with Aretha Franklin, Styx ,Dennis DeYoung, Michael Jackson, Tony Bennett, Ramsey Lewis, Ohio players, Ella Fitzgerald, Jay Leno, Bobby Caldwell, Gladys Knight, Tom Jones, Kurt Elling, Bernadette Peters, Big Twist and the Mellow Fellows, and many , many others.

Ron has played trumpet on too many television commercials to be listed here, however, a few of them are Pepsi,Budweiser,United Airlines,Coca-Cola, Pizza Hut, Midas, Bally’s, McDonalds, and every Chicago area local tv news show theme.

 No other bandleader in theChicagoarea has a more diverse and successful career at the top of the music business.
